  • "Can I ask you some question?" "Yes!"
  • "What is your name?" "John."
  • "Do you think the King of the Netherlands is rich?"
  • I don't know who the King of the Netherlands is. But kings are always rich, so yes, I think he is.
  • The King of the Netherlands is Willem-Alexander, but John doesn't know that..
  • Mary goes back to her office to write what she found out. Judge whether what she writes is true!

  1. This is Mary. She is conducting a survey about people's opinions about who is rich.
  2. "Can I ask you some question?" "Yes!"
  3. "What is your name?" "John."
  4. "Do you think the King of the Netherlands is rich?"
  5. I don't know who the King of the Netherlands is. But kings are always rich, so yes, I think he is.
  6. The King of the Netherlands is Willem-Alexander, but John doesn't know that..
  7. Mary goes back to her office to write what she found out. Judge whether what she writes is true!
  8. John thinks the King of the Netherlands is rich.
  9. John thinks Willem-Alexander is rich.
