  • This is Tom. He loves to play basketball.
  • This is Tom's older brother, Jim.
  • Jim is very good at basketball.
  • Tom is not. But he wishes he could join the basketball team with Jim.
  • "Mom, could I join the basketball team with Jim?"
  • "Jim, could Tom join the basketball team with you?"
  • "Well, Mom, first, he has to be older."
  • "And, he has to be tall."
  • "And, he has to run fast."
  • "And, he has to shoot the basketball well."
  • "But that will never happen!"
  • "Yes it will! He will get older!"
  • "And, he will get tall!"
  • "And, he will run fast!"
  • "And, he will shoot the basketball well!"
  • And, he did! One year later, Tom joined the team!

  5. "Mom, could I join the basketball team with Jim?"
  6. "Jim, could Tom join the basketball team with you?"
  7. "Well, Mom, first, he has to be older."
  8. "And, he has to be tall."
  9. "And, he has to run fast."
  10. "And, he has to shoot the basketball well."
  11. "But that will never happen!"
  12. "Yes it will! He will get older!"
  13. "And, he will get tall!"
  14. "And, he will run fast!"
  15. "And, he will shoot the basketball well!"
  16. And, he did! One year later, Tom joined the team!
