  • This is the fat beekeeper.
  • The girl with the blue dress is the beekeeper’s daughter.
  • The fat beekeeper uses the honey from his bees to make lots of cakes.
  • He has three favourite bees: a red bee, a yellow bee, and a green bee.
  • The red bee is very lazy and sleeps in the sun every day.
  • The beekeeper’s daughter asks, "Why is the red bee so lazy?"
  • The beekeeper says, "Because he is very old."
  • The beekeeper’s daughter asks, "Who is the hardest working bee?"
  • The beekeeper says, "My yellow bee is a hard worker and gets the most pollen."
  • The beekeeper’s daughter asks, "Why do you like the green bee?"
  • The beekeeper says, "Because he is a smart bee and finds the best flowers."
  • The beekeeper asks, "Where is my red bee?"
  • His daughter says, "The red bee is over there in the garden sleeping on a flower."
  • The beekeeper asks, "When will he start working?"
  • His daughter says, "He will start working when he wakes up."
  • The beekeeper asks, "Where is my yellow bee?"
  • His daughter says, "The yellow bee is here in the hive making honey."
  • The beekeeper asks, "Where is my green bee?"
  • His daughter says, "The green bee is flying far away to find the best flowers."
  • The beekeeper asks, "Where is my cake? You’ve eaten it, haven’t you?"
  • His daughter says, "No, the bees took it!"
  • The beekeeper asks, "How did the bees take the cake?"
  • His daughter says, "They flew."
  • The beekeeper asks, "Why did they take it?"
  • His daughter says, "Because it is the red bee’s birthday today!"

  1. This is the fat beekeeper.
  2. The girl with the blue dress is the beekeeper’s daughter.
  3. The fat beekeeper uses the honey from his bees to make lots of cakes.

  5. The red bee is very lazy and sleeps in the sun every day.
